By this, I mean that a good actor should be able to play any role especially if it is in stark contrast to his actual personality and most importantly his sexuality. Isn’t this what acting being all about, who can put on a better mask? So, a homosexual actor playing a straight role is the epitome of great acting. Therefore, it is integral to recognize such great actors who have played straight roles despite being homosexual!
